Important information regarding your 2025 OMA membership dues

The upcoming 2025 membership renewal and voting period is fast approaching. From Jan. 13 to March 31, you will be able to vote in the OMA elections and renew your membership through your My Account profile.

Starting Jan. 13, we will be sending out the 2025 membership renewal notices. When you receive your renewal notice, you may see a small increase of 0.6 per cent added to your membership dues. This modest adjustment will ensure we can continue to provide you with an optimal professional association experience and deliver high-quality services, invest in new initiatives and expand our offerings to enhance the value of your membership.

Depending on your membership category, the total annual adjustment will apply as follows:

• Regular member – $12 annually
• Part-time practice – $6 annually
• First-year in practice – $4 annually
• Second-year in practice – $8 annually
• Resident/Postgrad student – $1 annually
• Non-clinical – $6 annually

Note: There will be no dues increase for those who fall in the following categories: medical student, non-resident insurance only, retired, inactive, life or honorary (practicing or retired), medical missionary, or age 75 (practising or retired). 

Renew your membership 

Starting Jan. 13, you can renew your membership by logging in to My Account.

In addition to your OMA dues, certain constituency groups have implemented discretionary fees to support the work they do on your behalf. If applicable to you, please consider supporting them when you pay your membership dues. You will find your options on Step 2 of the payment wizard.
