Dr. Peter Alan Scott passed away peacefully at Hastings Manor, Belleville, on Nov. 24, 2023, in his 91st year.
Son of the late Alan and Agnes Scott. Beloved husband of the late Mary Scott. Loving father of Susan Armstrong of Belleville, and Sandra Chu of Rockford, Illinois. Grandfather to Bryce (Jocelyn Plane) Armstrong, Lauren Armstrong, Rachel and Rebecca Chu. Great-grandfather of Hudson, Sawyer, Alexio, Madalina and Freddy. Brother of Shirley Scott and predeceased by brothers Donald and David.
Dr. Peter Scott was a retired surgeon in Belleville. Following his retirement, Peter involved himself as the onsite doctor at Mosport and Shannonville Motor Sport Speedway with the motorcycle series and the Porche car racing series at both of the tracks.
Peter was also the team doctor for several years with the Belleville Bulls while under the ownership of his friend, the late Dr. Robert Vaughan. He was present for all of the home games and travelled with the team as they played in all of the cities in the Ontario Hockey League.
