Dr. John Harry Thorn passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Victoria Hospital, London at age 88. Dear son of Allan and Winnifred Thorn (née Atkinson). Loved husband of the late D. Naralon (née Abell) until her death in 2012. Cherished father of Catherine (John) and Robert (Debbie). Missed by his grandchildren Michael, Christopher, and Laura. Survived by sister Helen, and predeceased by cousins Mary Lou, John, Edward and Larry.
Harrie graduated medical school from the University of Western Ontario in 1958 and received his FRCPC in 1964.
The family would like to thank the London Health Sciences Centre for all the care given to Harrie in his time of need, especially his general practitioner Dr. S. Goldie. A special thank you also to the physicians, nurses, and staff for their kindness, especially after Harrie’s stay at Victoria Hospital.
