Dr. Wagdy E.A. Rayes passed away at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023.
Wag will be remembered fondly by so many for his care and dedication to the community of Apsley and the surrounding area as their medical doctor for almost 45 years.
He is loved and missed by his wife Sally and his daughter Margie Bailey (Simon) of Sydenham. Dear Geddou of Patrick and Tomas. Survived by his sister May Yacoub (the late Maher), and brothers Raouf Rayes (Mona) and Nadim Rayes (Julia). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Patrick (1989).
