With sadness, we announce the passing of Dr. Vivien Anne Smith on Nov. 7, 2023, following a lengthy illness.
Vivien graduated from the faculty of medicine at the University of Toronto and practised in Toronto as a psychoanalyst for many years.
Loving mother to her sons, David and Michael Culnan; dear sister of Diane Smith (Paul Shutsa); special aunt to several nephews and nieces; predeceased by her husband, Tony DiFranco (2003); and her parents, Basil Smith and Mildred Smith (nee Mitchener).
