Dr. Lisa Y-Yee Yip passed away surrounded by family on Friday, March 10, 2023, at the age of 53. A loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend to so many; she will be greatly missed.
She was most known for her caring. Care for her family and friends, care for her patients and for her garden. Lisa had a love for many things in addition to her friends and family. She loved to travel, always looking for new places to explore.
As a child, she was fascinated by culture and as a parent was excited to share these experiences with her sons. She also always loved delicious food. Her roots in Newfoundland gave her a love of seafood and her upbringing added other favourites such as egg tarts and BBQ pigtails.
Lisa is survived by her husband John, sons Andrew and Alexander, parents Anna and Tony, brother Avery and her flower and vegetable gardens.
