Dr. Joseph Isaac Leventhal passed away on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, peacefully surrounded by his family.
Joey, with distinction, served his country in World War II as a physician, artist, comedian, and a true renaissance man.
Beloved husband of the late Rita Leventhal. Loving father and father-in-law of Ian and Renee Leventhal, and Susan Leventhal and Max Rittner. Dear brother of the late Abraham Leventhal, Leah Burke, Miriam Brown, Rebecca Zon, and brother-in-law of Joel Shapiro and Miriam David.
Devoted grandpa of Joey, Elyssa, Evan, Jordana, Jeff, Natalie, Peter, Nathaniel, Natalie, Hannah, and dear great-grandfather of Kasidit, Harper, and Penelope.
