It is with profound sadness that the family of Gabriel announce his passing at home on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, after a long struggle with dementia with his adoring wife, Dee, by his side.
He will be dearly missed by his three sons, Michael, Niall, and Patrick, and their families including his beloved grandchildren, Connor, Sasha, Maddie, Niamh, Clare, Jameson and Lochlan.
He will also be sadly missed by his brother and sisters and his many nieces and nephews in Ireland, England, and Australia.
The Cooke family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful caregivers who looked after Gabe, especially Irene, Bernadeth, Sarah, Amos, and Dr. Bernstein and Priscilla from palliative care, Debbie and the amazing people from the Care Company.
A celebration of life has taken place. Rest in peace.
