The OMA Section on Sport and Exercise Medicine invites you to join us for Sport Med 2025 at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Toronto. 

The conference is open to physicians, residents, medical students, and allied health professionals.

Plenary topics:

• A debate on shoulder dislocation non-op vs op
• The IOC’s consensus statement on recommendations and regulations for sport events in the heat
• Sport ENT

Interactive break-out sessions:

• Shoulder exams
• Suturing techniques
• Ultrasound

The conference will feature an evening welcome reception, a medical student function and an exhibition hall.

Sport Med Call for abstracts

Anyone with an interest in sport medicine is being asked to submit abstracts of scientific research in sport medicine for SPORT MED 2025

The J.C. Kennedy Award for Excellence in Sport Medicine will be awarded to the person who best combines originality and scientific research in their paper. The paper may deal with basic science or clinical work in sport medicine. Presentations will be limited to 5 minutes, with full audio-visual support available.
