Dr. Mabel Hsin is the executive lead of wellness and health services at Altitude HCM Inc., where she consults for organizations interested in understanding and improving health outcomes in their teams. She is a public speaker on topics of health and wellness, and has presented at medical conferences, for private organizations, and for hospital staff.
Dr. Hsin received her medical degree from University of Toronto in 1988. She previously worked as an active physician member of Southlake Regional Health Centre for 30 years and a family physician for Southlake Academic Family Health Team. Dr. Hsin has directed her own medical clinic and has acted as the associate physician lead for the Bradford West Gwillimbury Family Health Organization.
She is passionate about the future of health care and has trained medical students from Queen’s University and the University of Ottawa. She is recognized by the University of San Diego as a qualified facilitator for the mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) program.
Beyond her medical career, Dr. Hsin has earned a black belt in the martial art of aikido and holds a third-degree black belt in Shotokan karate from the National Karate Association. She represented Canada in 2008 at the Pan American Karate Championships in Venezuela and the Karate World Championships in Tokyo.
