Dr. Alykhan Abdulla

Dr. Alykhan Abdulla is past chair of the OMA Section on General and Family Practice and an award-winning physician who aims improve the lives of both physicians and patients.

Dr. Alykhan Abdulla is passionate about his community and seeks to give back whenever he can. He serves on community boards for the Eastern Ontario Regional Lab Association, The Great India Festival, Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation and the Shepherds of Good Hope foundation.

Dr. Abdulla is a comprehensive family doctor and a palliative, sports, cosmetic and travel medicine consultant and past chair of the OMA Section on General and Family Practice. He has been the medical director for the Kingsway Health Centre since 1994 and lead physician/IT at the Manotick Rideau River South FHO since 2010. Dr. Abdulla is also an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa and a clinical instructor at the University of Ottawa School of Nursing. Dr. Abdulla was awarded the United Way Community Builder Award in 2009, Physician of the Year for Eastern Ontario in 2008, and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2013.

Dr. Abdulla is a badminton enthusiast, ballroom dancer and movie buff.
