Dr. Alim Nagji developed an ER simulation curriculum for hospital staff as the director of simulation learning at the ER clinical teaching unit at Joseph Brant Hospital. His passion for global health has led him to work in rural Canada, Afghanistan, France, Malta, Namibia, Tanzania and Uganda. As the director of the emergency medicine clerkship and assistant professor at McMaster University, Dr. Nagji leads bedside teaching initiatives. He was awarded the Alberta College of Family Physicians Resident Leadership Award and the Rising Star Award from the University of Alberta. Dr. Nagji practices family and emergency medicine at hospitals in Burlington, Hamilton and Kitchener.
