The Negotiations Task Force has been meeting with its ministry counterparts to discuss and resolve impending implementation issues to ensure timely delivery of all elements of the 2021 PSA. Likewise, staff remain in close contact with their ministry counterparts to ensure the effective operationalization and communication of the roll out of the 2021 PSA.

Primary care

The OMA has prepared the following comprehensive update on the primary care provisions in the 2021 Physician Services Agreement. Key topics addressed below include new managed entry web resources for members, Diagnostic Risk-adjusted Acuity Modifier Advisory Group, fee-for-service pooling from group to individual physicians, increased mandatory group size, after-hours requirements, after-hours exemptions, weekend access fee code, maximum roster size, enhanced group coverage, aspirational targets for patient visits, modernized booking and complexity-based capitation and preventive care bonuses.
