Practice Advisory Services

Practice Advisory Services (PAS) is a member service designed to provide advice to help physicians manage their medical practices in a more efficient, cost-effective manner. PAS has positioned itself to respond to physicians' needs by telephone advice and coordinating direct access to professional advisors in practice management, human resources, finance, computerization, clinical management systems, medical office design and seminars on current issues.

Physicians have spent many years acquiring professional skills but very few have received training in administration and practice management. PAS offers services each with the objective of providing the physicians with a sound basis for making important practice management decisions, which in turn helps them take better care of their patients. We also facilitate the resolution of questions, issues or concerns between physicians and the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. PAS is strictly confidential.

PAS is intended to provide physicians with access to a wide range of valuable information. Resources are included here to assist you with your practice management skills. Topics that may be of interest to physicians include:

  • Starting up a Medical
  • Computer Software Vendors
  • Financial Management
  • Staff Management
  • Practice Management Issues
  • Medical Records
  • OHIP Matters
  • Practice Management Seminars
  • Closing Down a Practice
