Caring through COVID-19

The OMR’s special COVID-19 coverage highlights some of the ways the pandemic has impacted physicians across Ontario as they continue to work tirelessly to serve their communities and safeguard the well-being of patients – as well as their own health and that of their families – in these unprecedented times. Physicians everywhere have stepped up, and stepped out of their comfort zones, to help wherever they are needed. They have adopted strategies like virtual care to continue serving their patients. They have become advocates for personal protective equipment for themselves and those who work alongside them, and they continue to put patients first – at great risk to themselves and their loved ones.
