Physician burnout
Burnout is a system-level issue that impacts many physicians in Ontario. As a group, physicians have higher than average rates of burnout than the general population. Learn about how the OMA advocates to the Ontario government to address burnout as a system-wide issue.
Mental health and addiction care
One of the OMA’s top policy priorities is to support and strengthen Ontario’s mental health and addiction sector. Provincial budget
The OMA advocates for doctors and patients in advance of provincial budgets. Together with physician health-care advocates, the OMA works to bring our recommendations to elected officials for better health care in Ontario.
OMA advocacy statement
Approved by the OMA Board of Directors, the purpose of this advocacy statement is to articulate the principles, and the guardrails, that will guide the decisions that lead to public communications on issues impacting our members.
