Northern Physician Retention InitiativeIn June 2007, it was announced that the OMA and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care had agreed to extend the Northern Physician Retention Initiative (NPRI), in its current form for an additional year, until March 2008. The 2007-2008 NPRI incentive applications are now available online for completion. Completed applications can be submitted by fax (1-800-461-7586), or by Canada Post. Prior to sending the application to the NPRI program at the OMA, please ensure that all questions are complete, and additionally that the application form has been signed. The submission deadline for the incentive applications is January 31, 2008. This program is administered by the Ontario Medical Association with funding provided by the Government of Ontario. |
